Have a question? You've come to the right place!

What is the difference between coaching and mentoring?

One of my favorite questions!

Let’s start with mentoring. Having a mentor is like having a guide who can tell you right from wrong, good from bad, and do from don’t, because they’ve been there. A mentor is someone you trust because you want to follow in their footsteps.

Having a coach, on the other hand, is a different kind of guide: someone who can help you figure out your own right from wrong, good from bad, and do from don’t—not because they don’t have a wealth of experience in their own right, but because they believe everyone’s path is different, and because you hold your own best answers within yourself. A coach helps you bring awareness and action to your own life goals and dreams, as opposed to simply having you follow their steps to a T.

How do I know if this is what I need/if you’re who I need to help me?

I can’t claim to have all the answers for you; in fact, no one will have your answers but yourself. That said, I am a trained coach who has spent 20+ years in leadership development, and absolutely can help you find your own best answers in a supportive, engaging, wisdom-filled, and incredible way. I believe everything happens for a reason: and if you’ve come to this page, there’s a reason for that, too.

Before you commit, I’d suggest at least getting in touch so we can learn a bit more about each other and see if we’re a great fit!

Who do you tend to work with? What do they come to you with?

Working with women to bring clarity, balance, happiness, and control into their lives—their career, relationships, health and wellness, or any other aspect of life—is what I love to do (and do best!).

The interesting part about our work together is that most of the time, you’ll find that you may come wanting to focus on your career development, but that we won’t be able to tackle that without at least exploring another aspect of your life! You may come wanting to gain that next big promotion, for instance, but feel held back by the lack of time you already have to spend with your family. We would not only gain clarity on that conflict, but also find a way for you to move through it and take action to actually create the result that gives you the best of all worlds.

What’s the process/how does this work?

Don’t hesitate to read through my Working Together page to learn more about the opportunities for personal growth that I offer and how we can work together! If you still have questions, reach out to me right from this page.
